Meet Your THON Child and Dancers

Alpha Kappa Lambda is proud to introduce seniors Krish Zaver (Interdisciplinary Digital Studios) and Brandon Ma (Risk Management, Enterprise Option) as this years THON Dancers! They’ll represent our THON child, Seth, on the Bryce Jordan Center floor from February 21 – 23rd. 

For those of you who aren’t aware, THON™, has taken on the ongoing fight against childhood cancer. As the largest student run philanthropy in the world, THON’s mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research – all in pursuit of a cure.

Alpha Kappa Lambda, along with 16,500 student volunteers and more than 25,000 alumni, work tirelessly to support more than 3,700 families at Penn State Children’s Hospital. These efforts culminate in a 46 hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon held every February. Krish and Brandon are taking on this challenge knowing fully well that their 46 hour battle with fatigue pales in comparison to what cancer patients and their families endure on a daily basis.
