Tapestry and Alpha Kappa Lambda take on the THON 5K
Tapestry Dance Company and Alpha Kappa Lambda joined together to partake in Penn State’s annual THON 5K run on October 15th, 2017. Meant to raise awareness for childhood cancer, the THON 5K is a fantastic means of encouraging activity and raising moral among the children of THON. Every year, thousands of dollars are raised through entrance fees, donations, and pledges, with all proceeds going directly towards the fight against childhood cancer. Together, Tapestry and Alpha Kappa Lambda sent 10 runners to run in support of the cause. We are very proud of our runners and would like to congratulate them all on their generous contribution.
